Thomas J. Tollefsen

Thomas J. Tollefsen is an attorney recognized by the Florida Bar as a Board Certified specialist in Construction Law. He obtained his B.A. with honors from the University of Nebraska. Upon graduating from the University of Michigan Law School, he served as a law clerk for the Hon. John F. Wright of the Nebraska Supreme Court, where he was intimately involved in research and drafting opinions for publication. After completing his clerkship, Mr. Tollefsen began practicing law in Jacksonville, focusing on civil litigation related to the construction industry.

Over the years, he has acquired extensive experience in every facet of the litigation process, including drafting appellate briefs and arguing before the District Courts of Appeal.  He focuses on all phases of litigation and transactional practice related to commercial and residential construction and real estate disputes. He represents home owners, contractors, and sub-contractors.

Mr. Tollefsen is a member of the State Bars of Florida and California and is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
